Everest Base Camp & Gokyo Ri: A perfect trek for someone who wants to add a little adventure to their Everest base camp trek! This trek offers an exciting traverse to Gokyo valley which sits across the other side of Cho la (5420m) pass! This pass is physically demanding and may require boot spikes depending on the weather condition. Gokyo is a small village at the foot of Gokyo ri (5357m) surrounded by lakes. A scenic place to spend a night or two and hike to Gokyo ri to view mighty peaks of Nepal and across to Tibet, gives a rewarding experience!
