Overview

Saribung is situated in a remote region between Mustang and Naar Phu valley, a straightforward peak which demands sheer endurance and patience. One has to spend a good amount of time trekking at high altitude to reach this peak and make an attempt to get to the top. Very popular amongst the senior or technically required mountaineers from the hard core climbing, this trek offers the beauty of Tibetan culture whilst trekking through Naar Phu valley and Mustang. Traditionally this peak has been climbed trekking through Mustang,  in a clockwise and end through Naar & Phu valley, unfortunately development of dirt road has completely ruined trekking in Mustang and taking a jeep drive to Yara disturbs the acclimatization process. Therefore, our itinerary offers approaching the peak in anticlockwise, to allow climber enough time to get acclimatized and conditioned whilst trekking consistently at the higher elevation before attempting summit, and ends with a jeep tour to Lo Manthang (Mustang) and back down to Jomsom.
