Annapurna Sanctuary trek: Annapurna sanctuary is a high glacial basin, an oval shaped plateau sits at an altitude of over 4000m, at the base of Annapurna range (Nilgiri 7061m, Tilicho 7134, Annapurna I 8091, Annapurna South 7219, Gangapurna 7455, Annapurna III 7555, Machhapuchhre 6997, Annapurna IV 7525, Annapurna II 7937). The entire sanctuary was held as sacred to the Gurung people, one of the many native people to inhabit the area. The trail through the colorful Gurung villages, terraced fields and dense rhododendron forest with views of Annapurna range within your close distance.
